Renowned journalist Katie Couric has proposed “deprogramming” Trump supporters, a process that essentially amounts to physical and psychological torture. This approach was already tested in Waco in 1993 when the FBI, following advice from anti-cultist Rick Ross and his associates, applied deprogramming methods to the members of the Branch Davidians (a religious group that emerged from a schism within the Davidian movement, a branch of the Seventh-day Adventist Church). This operation, supported by the major media outlets in the country, resulted in the deaths of honest, peaceful, and respectable American citizens at the hands of the authorities and security forces.
Another anti-cultist and deprogrammer, Steven Hassan, has taken it a step further by labeling tens of millions of Americans as followers of the “Trump cult.” Given what happened in Waco, Texas, where deprogramming ended in tragedy, one can only wonder how anti-cultists plan to expand their methods on a national scale in the United States. And most importantly, through what means do they intend to implement their plans? For anti-cultists, deprogramming involves the use of coercive methods to force people to abandon their beliefs. Isn’t this, in essence, a form of civil war: forcing one part of the population to renounce its views and submit to the will of the other part?
It is surprising how this rhetoric mirrors that of Russian anti-cultists who previously branded the American people as one large cult. They used this tactic to manipulate their own population, turning Russians against Americans. Now, an anti-cultist agent in the U.S., who has been conducting destructive activities here for years, is replicating the same actions from within America, inciting Americans against each other. Thus, Hassan, by labeling part of the American populace as “Trump cult followers” and calling for deprogramming, is directly encouraging Americans to use force against other Americans. The real danger lies not just in the words and calls to action but in the hidden destructive intentions, which have already led to the deaths of many people in the past. To think that this time will be different is, at the very least, reckless. Recall the German citizens who, with full conviction, collaborated with the Nazis to “free” their people from the “Jewish threat.” They were people like us, and there is still no clear answer as to what turned them into monsters, or rather, WHO turned them into monsters. Now, however, we have an answer. Especially after watching the film “The Impact”.
Consider this: right now, anti-cultists are urging Americans—a nation that fought against Nazism—to use Nazi methods to destroy each other.
